Schools & education
Altitude44 is a great place for any and all school trips to Skegness. We can design our session around your needs, everything from the timings of the session to the content can be altered to suit you and we can even supply you lesson plans for the visit.
A trip to Altitude44 can help your pupils achieve a number of key areas of the OAA curriculum across key stages 2, 3 and 4. To see which areas Altitude44 can help you achieve, we’ve highlighted the areas we can help your students achieve on this copy of the OAA curriculum document. You can also contact us and we can take you through all the areas we can help you achieve.
Altitude44 is also a great way to help you meet many of the goals set out in the new Character Education Guidance Framework distributed by the Department for Education in November 2019. Altitude44 especially helps you to meet Character benchmarks C and D, “How well do our curriculum and teaching develop resilience and confidence?” and “How good is our co-curriculum?”, but helps to meet all of the other benchmarks as well. We will be happy to discuss how our activities can help you meet the outcomes of the new framework. Please contact us for further information. The full guidance document is available from the Department for Education here.
