Climbing Equipment

Will I be secured while climbing?

We use state of the art technology to ensure you always stay attached. When you arrive, an instructor will issue you with a Clic-it. This is made up of two communication carabiners which mean that there’s is no way you can ever detach yourself from the safety system You’ll also receive a full safety briefing from an instructor which will teach you how to use the system

Can small children use the high wire course?

We’ve included a Junior Course, which is designed for small children, so the whole family can take part in the adventure. The Junior Course is mounted at a height of approximately 60 – 100 cm above the ground and is for use by people 1m to 1.4m tall.

How long will the whole adventure take?

On the adult course, the whole session will last approximately 90 minutes. This includes time for you to be fitted with safety equipment, briefed by your instructor and the chance to have a supervised practice session on the ground to make sure you understand how to use the safety system. This takes around 30 minutes meaning you have a full hour on the course! If you’ve also chosen to go on the drop you’ll need to make sure you get your shot during your time on the course.

On the junior course, you’ll get a shorter safety brief (it’s a different safety system) for about 15 minutes (maximum) before being unleashed on the course for around 30 minutes.

What should I wear?

Please visit the Before Your Adventure page which tells you everything you need to know!

Our policy strongly recommends pregnant women not to take part. However, the choice is yours and we would suggest you seek professional medical advice on the matter.
