Away from Skegness, there is plenty to see and do in the local area. Just up the coast you have the popular resort of Mablethorpe and the more traditional town of Sutton‐on‐Sea. Further inland, there is the popular market town of Louth as well as Alford and Horncastle.
The Lincolnshire Wolds is designated as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) with some fantastic countryside and walking routes. Louth and Horncastle are two pretty towns with numerous antique shops, cafes and other attractions.
